SALT Sponsored Online Journals

The Society for Applied Learning Technology (SALT®) sponsored publications Journal of Instruction Delivery Systems (JIDS) and Journal of Interactive Instruction Development (JIID) are now only available online. This means that all issues published are available to subscribers by accessing the SALT® web page (www.salt.org) Publications Section. Each issue will not only be searchable from the web page, but will be available in PDF format. Subscribers who wish to have a hardcopy can simply download and print the appropriate Volume and Issue number.

All subscribers will receive notification via email when each new issue is published, accessible for review and download from the SALT® web site, and when subscription renewals are due. An e-mail address is required per subscription in order for each subscriber to receive this important information. It is also important to note that current subscribers can search and access all prior issues of the Journals for review and download. JIID and JIDS issues back to 1993 are available online.

If you are a current subscriber and do not have a User ID and Password to access your Online journal(s), please select "Contact Us" at the left and then "Subscriptions" at the right and request your Subscription User ID and Password. The email address that you provide must match the one we have on file for you. Library Subscribers can bypass User ID/Password requirements by sending an IP address from which the journals will be accessed.

Society for Applied Learning Technology® (SALT®): SALT Membership is a $55.00 Annual Fee.

SuperUsers: SALT® members who subscribe to both JIID and JIDS will have access to all SALT® conference Proceedings available online. Currently, SALT® Conference Proceedings are available back to 2002.

Journal of Educational Technology Systems (JETS): This journal remains in a printed format. JETS is available to SALT® Members only at the subscription rate of $65.00 (U.S., Canada, Mexico) and $75 for subscribers outside North America.

Select Publications, then Subscribe. The first form you will fill out is your contact information. After you click submit, you will then be directed to the second form which is where you indicate the journal(s) you would like to subscribe to, along with your payment information. You will receive an email confirmation along with your User ID and Password.
