Thursday Training 9:15-10:00 USAF Security Forces e-Learning -- Train Like Airmen Learn Today Donna Parker, Chief, Security Forces Education & Training, ICoE, HQ Air Force Security Forces Center, US Air Force The USAF’s Security Forces (SF) Electronic Tactics, Techniques and Procedures Guide (e-TTPG) program provides one stop, 24/7 access to knowledge and performance-based training, needed to sustain essential core warrior skills for more than 36,000 globally located SF. E-TTPGs are adaptable for any subject or audience. Tthey ensure the trainee, trainer, and evaluator have standardized training tools. Developed at 50% less cost than industry standards, modules use minimal bandwidth and require no third party media player. Each module was constructed using a standard format template and contains embedded references, lesson plans, student study guides, and evaluation tools. Some modules contain HD quality, full screen audio-video output, plus prompts on critical procedures or safety reminders. Using “Whole-Part-Whole” training methodology, e-TTPGs engage all learning styles, whether visual, aural, verbal, social or solitary. Used AF-wide by thousands of security forces and force protection personnel, each e-TTPG focuses on highly perishable skills and provides vital training standards for critical SF missions and operations. This program supports AETC’s vision of mobile learning where every Airman will use a mobile media device to support their career-long education and training requirements. Ultimately, e-TTPGs allow SF to train like airmen learn today. [View Author Bio] Back |
