Biography
Dr. Judy Converso is currently a senior manager with CSC working as the project lead on a competency development model validation and testing project. She is a 30+ year educator, having served at the local, district, state, and university/college levels. As a published author and presenter at national and international conferences, she has an extensive background in instructional analysis and design, with specialization in distance education design and implementation. Her research interest and experience include large-scale educational/training reform efforts which focus on a systems approach to the design and diffusion of innovation via change management and leadership principles and methodologies. Dr. Converso earned a Masters degree from SUNY at Fredonia in 1981 in Curriculum & Instruction, a Education Specialist (EdS) degree from Stetson University in Educational Leadership, and a PhD in 2001 from The Florida State University in the program of Educational Research: Instructional Systems. Her PhD has provided Dr. Converso with a specialization in front end analysis, system design and development, and working with geographically dispersed subject matter experts (SMEs). She was a 2008 US Army Future Combat Systems STAR Award recipient and has been recognized as a member of the CSC North Public Sector Defense Fellows Class of 2010.
