As a Senior Editor on Bloomberg’s digital assets and payments team, Anna Irrera edits, reports, and oversees stories at the forefront of digital finance. Her coverage spans cryptocurrencies, blockchain, payments innovation, market structure, digital banking, and the evolving intersection between traditional finance and technology.

With more than a decade of experience in fintech and the convergence of Wall Street and Silicon Valley, Anna has chronicled how technology is reshaping financial institutions, markets, and money itself. Before joining Bloomberg in 2022, she was Chief Correspondent for Reuters in London and New York, where she led coverage of global fintech and digital finance.

Anna also wrote and hosted a Spotify Original podcast in Italian exploring the future of finance and is the author of The Coin, a YA novel published by SEM/Feltrinelli. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and a law degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
