Hoda Abou-Jamra is the Founding Partner ofthe firm, and Managing Director Asia of TVM Capital Healthcare in Singapore (regulated by MAS).

In 2007, Hoda was the driving force behindthe establishment of  TVM CapitalHealthcare in the MENA region, and expanded the business to Singapore a coupleof years later, to improve access to affordable, quality healthcare inSoutheast Asia. Her global expertise in business development and fundraisinghas helped her to built and develop a very successful, healthcare dedicatedprivate equity firm, that combines strong commercial value creation withmeasurable impact creation in its core Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)such as access to care, job creation, diversity and inclusion.

Hoda currently holds board positions atManzil Healthcare Services, a female-founded, dedicated provider ofprofessional home care and home nursing services headquartered in Abu Dhabi,UAE, and Amecath Medical Technologies, a Medical Devices company with globaldistribution networks.

She is a regular speaker and commentator inthe private equity and healthcare arena, and a major advocate of solidcorporate governance, ESG investing, promoting diversity and gender equality.Hoda is a member of 100 Women in finance and was a founding Chair of the 30%Club’s MENA chapter, working with multi-sector leaders to achieve evenrepresentation of women on boards and in senior level positions. She is amember of WBL Women Leading in Healthcare and of the Dubai Business WomenCouncil, and a member of PhiSB, an invitation only network of females who areexceptional in their potential, achievements and drive to make positive impact.Hoda is also leading the firm’s active contributions to 2X Global, to supportgender-smart investing.

Most recently she was appointed for theInternational Advisory Council (IAC) of Mass General, the largest teachinghospital of Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. The International AdvisoryCouncil (IAC) at Mass General brings together global industry and thoughtleaders with significant experience and perspective on international businessand policy.

Before co-founding TVM Capital Healthcare,she was the CEO of Boston BioCapital, a U.S.-based firm that provided strategicadvice, due diligence services, business plan conception, business developmentand consulting services within the U.S. and European biotech industries. She isalso a founder of The BioExec Institute, Boston, a non-profit think tank forthe healthcare industry. Hoda graduated from the Bouve College of HealthSciences, Northeastern University in Boston, with a degree in Pharmacy.
