Jamie MacLeod is Executive Chair of Apex Wealth and the Apex Foundation, part of Apex Group, which oversees $3.5 trillion in assets and employs 13,000 people globally. He is also Director General of Big Issue Holdings, one of the UK’s most recognised social enterprises.

Jamie has spent almost three decades leading billion-dollar financial institutions as Chief Executive, Managing Director, Chairman and Director General.

Appointed Managing Director at Scottish Widows at 29, he went on to become the founding CEO of what grew into the $80 billion Skandia Investment Group. He subsequently acquired a 20% stake in Bordier & Cie UK, serving as CEO for 14 years and as a member of the Group Executive of one of Switzerland’s oldest and most prestigious private banking institutions.

Alongside his career in global finance, Jamie has been involved in poverty alleviation, philanthropy and social impact for more than 30 years.

Outside his professional commitments, Jamie enjoys the pursuit of challenging fish in some of the world’s more unusual and remote locations, alongside overseeing his adviser-led single-family office.
