KetanPatel is the founder andchairman of ‘Force for Good’, established in support of the UN SecretaryGeneral’s roadmap for sustainable development, examining and engaging 125leading global financial institutions reported in “Capital as a Force forGood”, and 100 leading technology companies, reported in “Technology for aSecure, Sustainable and Superior Future”. This work has identified a set of keysolution sets which can close 90% of the SDG gap.

Ketanis the CEO and co-founder of Greater Pacific Capital, investing in high growthenterprises making an impact, sustainably and profitably in rapidly developingeconomies, chairing the Investment Committee, and leading GPC’s research.

Ketanwas formerly a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, heading the Strategic Group,providing strategic counsel to governments and leaders of businesses worldwide, including the US, China, India andJapan. His work covered the intersection of macrogeopolitical and security issues with industry, companies and finance.

Previously, he was a partner, and board member atKPMG, leading the Strategy and Business Transformation business, which heco-founded. Prior to that he worked at Hewlett-Packard in financial management.

Ketan is a fellow and a member of the Executive Teamand board of trustees of the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS); a seniorteam member of the Human Security for All project, an international initiativeof WAASand the UN Trust Fund for Human Security; a member of the working groups of the UN SDSNSenior Working Group on the ‘European Green Deal and the SDGs’ and the ‘LancetCommission COVID 19 Green Recovery Task Force on Sustainable Finance’; a memberof the UN Business and Human Security Initiative Advisory Board managed by theLondon School of Economics and Political Science; and a member of JaneGoodall’s Council of Hope.

He has spoken, led and participated in a number ofkey events including the  UN’s WorldInvestment Forum, COPs 26 to 29, the Doha Forum, CityUK InternationalConference, SDSN Conference on Financing the European Green Deal and the SDGs,the SALT Conference, Club de Madrid, SDG Investment Fair, and the CES GreatMinds Series.

Ketan isthe author of ‘The Master Strategist’ (Random House, 2005), foreword by NelsonMandela. His research workfocuses on great power systems and transitions, the changing world order,security, sustainability, mass inclusion and the key technologies shaping theworld.

He grewup in London and studied Economics at the London School of Economics andPolitical Science, and is an MBA and ACMA. He holds a post-graduate degree inneuroscience from King’s College, London.
