Sunrise and sunset in Grand Teton National Park are optimal times to view wildlife, and the lighting at these hours typically offers the most photogenic views of the Tetons. Your knowledgeable biologist will guide you to breathtaking overlooks and wildlife hot spots, describing the behavior of various species throughout your tour.

Offsite Excursion: Whitewater Rafting
Journey down the class II-III Snake River with stunning canyon scenery, calm stretches, and fun rapids. Experience the two biggest waves on the river, Big Kahuna and Lunchcounter, named by the legendary Dave Hansen. Your guide will teach you how to sit, paddle, and stroke as you laugh down the Snake.

Meander down Jackson Hole’s iconic Snake River on one of Dave Hansen’s two different scenic river rafting trips. Whether your choose to float the upper portion of the Snake, where you’ll have Teton views for the majority of your float, or the Canyon, where mountain walls rise up on both side of the river, you’re in for a treat. Between the scenery, wildlife and river itself, your scenic float will be an experience to remember.

Offsite Excursion: Half Day Hike
Learn about the wildlife, plants, wildflowers, and the ecology of Jackson Hole. Featuring an abundance of nature and unique Grand Teton views, this hiking tour is a great introduction to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Drinking water, trail snacks, transportation, and the use of waist packs and binoculars are included.
